Requirements to become an inducted member can be found by clicking the “Membership” tab of our website. Requirements are updated every semester.

At the end of our General Interest Meetings (GIMs), we will share an interest form that asks what committees you are interested in. From there, you will be sent applications from each respective committee VP. After VPs review applications, they will send out interview invitations for respective positions. You will hear back from the respective VPs on the positions you were accepted/rejected for.

All committee positions are open during the fall semester of each academic year. We won’t begin staffing committees until after our General Interest Meetings (GIMs), around October. Positions open in the spring, vary year to year, so please attend our GIMs for more information. The recruitment process is the same as the fall (applications and interview).

Most events are in person now and hosted in our club room in the Newman Vertical Campus. Some can still be hosted online over Zoom if the host VP chooses to do so. Check the event's flyer or our online calendar for the location of each event.

All of our events are held during club hours (12:40 pm - 2:20 pm) or in the evenings (6 - 7:30 pm) on Tuesdays and Thursdays. We occasionally have events in the evening accommodate the schedules of invited professionals and alumnae.

The best way to keep up to date with all things WIB is to follow us on Instagram @baruchwib and to subscribe to our newsletter! Our club-wide Whatsapp group chat can also provide announcements from VPs about their events (please talk to your VP for information on how to join).

To run for a Vice President position, you must be at least a half year inducted member. To run for an Executive Board position, you must be a full year inducted member. For information on how to become a half or full year member, check out our "Membership" page.

Our main goal within WIB is to grow members both personally and professionally. This is done through events focused on member development, professional events hosted with companies such as Deloitte, Bloomberg, etc., and through opportunities to join committees that offer more hand on experience such as Marketing and Public Relations.

WIB offers networking opportunities with companies from multiple industries, including finance, accounting, and computer information systems. Attend our WIB Spotlight Events, dedicated to highlighting business, for an opportunity to visit companies and hear from professionals.

On our Instagram, we have posted all of our board members in our “Meet the Board” series. Give us a follow on our personal instagrams and say hello! You can also find their emails on our "Board Members" page. Throughout the semester, you’ll have the opportunity to meet new members at events and at mixers hosted by the board. You can also meet new people through our WIB Buddies program and our Whatsapp group chat!
